"AND" Strategy

The Deductible Gap
The first $2,000–$5,000 you pay before insurance contributes a penny.

The Coinsurance Sting
The 20% bill that arrives weeks after your appointment.

Denied Claims
Services your insurer decides "aren't necessary."

Non-Covered Services
Procedures, specialists, or treatments your plan doesn't include.

The “Insurance Doesn’t Cover That” List:
Dental (partially), vision (partially), orthodontics (barely), veterinary (not at all), therapy (maybe).

Important: DRODE’s 2x Medicare rates apply exclusively to self-pay physician services—when you are not billing insurance. If you want charges to count toward your insurance deductible, your provider must bill your insurance at their contractual rates. DRODE can serve as the payment mechanism for your out-of-pocket portion (copay, coinsurance, or deductible amount) but does not set the rate when insurance is involved.
